Jan is a PhD student in computational astrodynamics co-advised by Davide Amato. His research focuses on near-linear uncertainty quantification in cislunar space. His work aims at accurately modelling diffusion of uncertainty in cislunar space to ensure reliable tracking and cataloguing of Resident Space Objects (RSOs), through the development of uncertainty quantification methods in alternative formulations of the dynamics. Before pursuing a PhD at Imperial, he was working as a Space Situational Awareness engineer, designing optical systems for space surveillance. He graduated with an MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering from Cranfield University, UK.
